Binaural Beats help with Sleep
Increasing SMR generally results in deeper sleep and more energy throughout the day.
Contrary to what many people believe, insomnia is not a disease, you can not "catch" insomnia. Insomnia is a symptom of other underlying problems that can / need to be solved.
Please note that some medical problems can cause insomnia - but this is usually for a short period of time. Insomnia can be caused by bad habits and ignorance. Have you ever had a cup of coffee before bed or a large meal after 8pm? Help is at hand as bad habits can be changed, and ignorance can be cured!!
Some Medical Conditions That Can Cause Insomnia: Diabetes, Digestive problems, Menopause, Ulcers, Heartburn, Asthma, Epilepsy (if you do suffer from Epilepsy or think you might, NEVER use Binaural Beats), PMS.
Having an inactive lifestyle can cause your brainwaves (SMR) to "run" rather flat, causing sluggishness during the day and poor sleep at night. For example, have you ever tried sleeping in over the weekend, to try and catch up with some sleep only to find that after you get up later than you would on a week day, that your whole body feels tired and sluggish? This is because your body works in waves and gets used to getting up at the same time each day and going to bed at the same time each night, this out of sync behaviour can make the usual Waking up at 6.30AM on Monday morning really tough, and falling asleep at 11PM almost impossible.
If you have ever started an exercise program you may find that you have started to sleep better, you may think this is just because you are tired and you have been working your body, well, a very little known fact that people who exercise on a regular basis will always show one thing that most insomniacs don't have, that is that they exhibit a lot of a specific brainwave range in the beta group range is called SMR. (sensory-motor rhythm)
Again most, if not all insomniacs (and people who suffer from ADHD) have a huge deficiency of this brainwave band. SMR is responsible for inhibiting motion during sleep, among other duties.
Also stimulating the sensory-motor rhythm is very effective in quieting chatty minds, improving concentration and reading speed, treating ADD/ADHD and learning disorders, and alleviating depression, anxiety and stress.
Binaural Beats help with Insomnia and are be used before bed, but they may not put you to sleep. Instead, it is meant to have permanent effects by restoring control of sleep to your brain.
Using Binaural Beats can help get your whole body / brain back in sync and get you back in to a regular sleeping pattern.
