Testimonials Regarding Hypnotherapy Sessions using Binaural beats My reasons for having hypnotherapy sessions were due to the fact that I wanted to find an alternative way of addressing concerns about my health, mainly my weight. I had tried lots of different diets and ways of managing my weight but to no avail. I had this thought in my mind that in order to manage my weight I needed help in approaching it a different way; I wanted to change my life style rather than be told what to eat and follow instructions. I have had four sessions so far and this has helped me to firstly think about what was important to me in life in order of importance and how if I could manage this. The other important thing that has become apparent is the need to have time, space and relax so I can reflect. Luckily for me I have kept a journal and I was also encouraged to do a weekly reflection in my journal. What have I achieved? I now have a much better awareness of my eating habits; I have identified that I have developed certain habits where I had been eating because that's what I always did. I now find myself stopping and being aware that I am full. When I used to snack, I still do, but I do so in a limited way, and am aware of what I am doing. One of the most important things I have realized is not to use scales to weight myself; I no longer live to see how much I weigh. I am aware of my body and how I feel and that results will happen gradually. I would recommend hypnotherapy to anyone who is open to learning about themselves on a deep level. If you are ready to allow yourselves to move on from superficial level of 'diets' and the emotional ups and downs of 'losing weight' then this is definitely for you! Marrissa ~~~~~~~ It has been a very positive experience, which has helped me focus on the underlying reasons for my conflicted relationship with food and given me more resource to cope with the 'bad' days. Overall, I feel calmer, better rested and more able to cope with the various things that life throws at you from time to time. I would recommend the process. ~~~~~~~ After the first meeting I left me with a few things to practice, I had several meetings with and a couple of days later when I was training I felt a lot more positive and focused with what I was doing and my abilities. I believe that the therapy I had received from Alan made a real difference to my training and total kickboxing performance. ~~~~~~~ I found the therapy very relaxing and very surprised at how easy I found myself being able to picture everything you were saying.
